Overclocked was a first to market campaign between Gillette and Studio@Gizmodo with a focus on e-sports’ growing presence in the entertainment landscape. The sub-site lived under the editoral site Compete and housed all sponsored content. I was responsible for creation of site logo, illustrations for all posts, and art direction of all videos and a sponsored event.


Event : Beat an E-Sports Champ

We created an event where we challenged our readers to square off against an e-sports champion in our in-studio theater, competing for prizes and glory.

Being involved from ideation to execution, I was responsible for designing all event signage including: directional signage, cocktail menus, pizza boxes, napkins, wall decals, and an interactive photo booth.


Responsible for ideating branded content with the creative team and executing illustrations. Art directed a contract animator to bring static images to life.


We went to Detroit and profiled The Renegades, an Overwatch e-sports team, following them on their journey to compete in a professional tournament.
